Opening & Closing Ceremonies
The Opening Ceremony of the 25th JEONJU IFF will be held at Sori Arts Center of Jeollabuk-do, Moak Hall on May 1 (Wed), 19:30. The Closing Ceremony will be held at Jeonbuk National University Cultural Center on May 10 (Sat), 19:00.
Tickets for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies can be booked online(PC/mobile) through the official website(eng.jeonjufest.kr). If online tickets are sold out, on-site purchases will not be possible. However, tickets not sold out via online(PC/mobile) can be purchased at the Box Offices during the festival period.
Award Ceremony Guide
The 25th JEONJU IFF’s Awards Ceremony will be held on May 7 (Tue), 16:00 at Jeonbuk National University Cultural Center.
To watch the ceremony, admission is on a first-come, first-seated basis without a separate ticket, and seats are available at a designated area.
*The 25th Awards Ceremony does not feature celebratory performances and the awardees' screenings.
Awardees' Screenings
Screenings of this year's award-winning films are scheduled for a total of four sessions[May 10 (Fri)].
The screening schedules will be announced on the JEONJU IFF official website after the Awards Ceremony on May 7 (Tue).
Online Screenings
The 25th JEONJU IFF does not offer online screenings.

• Supporters: 1,000 KRW discount (per ticket) for online(PC/mobile) and on-site bookings.
• Disabled, persons of distinguished service to the state, senior citizens(over age 65), JEONJU IFF volunteer alumni, and supporting members of JEONJU Digital Independent Cinema: 1,000 KRW discount (per ticket) for on-site bookings. (Discounts for the disabled, persons of distinguished service to the state, and senior citizens can be applied for up to one accompanying person.)
• Wheelchaired persons: 50% Discount on both pre-bookings and on-site bookings. (Can be applied for up to one accompanying person.)
• Jeonju Citizens: 50% discount on the Closing Ceremony and Jeonbuk National University Cultural Center screenings for on-site bookings.
For on-site booking discounts, an ID or other proof of identity will be required.

Official Screening Venues
The official screening venues of the 25th JEONJU International Film Festival operate on a total of 22 screens in six venues: JEONJU Digital Independent Cinema(1), CGV Jeonjugosa(8), MEGABOX Jeonju Gaeksa(10), Jeonbuk National University Cultural Center(1), Sori Arts Center of Jeollabuk-do(1), and PIXAR Dome(1).
GV and Program Events
For the screenings marked as GV or Program Event, a program event including Guest Visits (Q&A session) will be held afterwards.
All program events, including Guest Visits, are open to ticket holders only.
Please refer to the announcements on the festival website for the guests attending. The events may change or be canceled depending on the guests' circumstances.
All GVs will be held with an English interpreter, but for the other events, the interpreter might not be available. Please refer to the Program Event Information page on the festival website for further information.
Cinema Rules
• Screenings on Schedule
As a rule, the 25th JEONJU IFF begins every screening on schedule. Late entry is prohibited 10 minutes after each screening begins. Late entry does not guarantee selected seats at purchase. (Same rules apply to Shorts Bundles)
• Seating
Attendees must sit in specified seats determined at purchase. Changing seats while the screening is not permitted. Please refrain from re-entry while the screening is ongoing.
• Food and Drink
Only non-alcoholic beverages are permitted in JEONJU Digital Independent Cinema, and bottles of water with a lid in Jeonbuk National University Cultural Center.
• Filming
Please do not bring cameras or a recorder. All films are creative works protected by copyright law. Photography and video recordings are strictly prohibited during the screening. (including trailers and end credits) In case of being caught filming, the recordings will be removed to prevent copyright infringement.
• Tickets
Only ticket holders (including mobile tickets) are allowed entry into theaters. Attendees using tickets bought with badges must present their badges for identification.
• Limiting the Electronic Devices
Please switch off all electronic devices (mobile phones, smart watches, etc.) during the screening.
• Age Ratings and Classifications
JEONJU IFF adheres to all age ratings. Those under 18 are prohibited from entry for films rated R. (18 or over attending high school or underage accompanied by a guardian are still prohibited from entry.) Children under 4 are prohibited from entry regardless of a guardian accompanying them.
